Pyropel® protects people from smoke and toxic fumes. Low smoke, non-burning, non-melting Pyropel does not burn, melt or emit toxic fumes during thermal degradation. It is ideal for environments where you do not want smoke to be generated from a fire. Pyropel materials meet or exceed all FAA requirement for cabin interiors.  Used alone or in composite panels, Pyropel will enhance the performance of interior components.

Extended Temperature Performance
-320°F to +550°F

Pyropel properties remain stable through a wide range of temperature because of the amorphous chemical structure of the material.  This wide temperature range enables Pyropel to perform in a wide variety of commercial, military and space applications.

Applications Include:

  • Commercial Aircraft Ducting
  • Seating Components
  • Composite Panels
  • Oxygen Systems
  • Space Station Moisture Control and Filtration
  • Commercial and Military Helicopter Insulation
