Pyropel® MD-60 Medium Density
Pyropel® MD-60 is a medium-density rigid insulation for mechanically demanding applications. It is the most structurally rigid grade of medium-density Pyropel insulation and offers the highest compression resistance and physical tolerances. Pyropel MD-60 is easy and safe to machine. The material is non brittle and will not crack or break while fabricating or while being used in your process.

Insulating compression and injection molding tool bases and heated platens with molding pressures over 600 psi.
Custom Finishing and Fabricating
Pyropel MD-60 comes standard in 1/4” thickness with an optional 5/32” version. This product is easy and safe to machine. Offered in a wide selection of standard sizes from 12” x 12” to 32” x 32”. Pyropel Inc. can perform a wide variety of finishing operations including cutting to size, drilling or die cutting, custom shapes and even fabricating enclosures.
