New Bedford, MA - Pyropel, Inc. has acquired the assets of the Pyropel polyimide products business from Albany Engineered Composites (AEC). The manufacturing and corporate offices have been relocated to 20 Howard Avenue, New Bedford, Massachusetts. The new company, Pyropel Inc., continues to manufacture and supply Pyropel polyimide products worldwide. New owner, Gordon Varney, has a 30-year history with the Pyropel product line and played an instrumental role in bringing the product to market for Albany International before acquiring the business.
